Welcome to the future, or should I say, ancient past, of eating beef. Our Regenerative Beef is among the healthiest and most delicious beef on the planet today. How can we say that with a straight face? We had our beef tested at Michigan State University* and compared it to an existing database of beef profiles. Read below to see the 4 things that makes our beef uniquely different.
1: REP Regenerative Beef is Nutritionally Better.
Raised regeneratively, our cattle live in a fully functioning grassland ecosystem that consists of over 70 different native grass species. This plant biodiversity culminates into a nutrient-dense meat that is packed with micro-nutrients, vitamins and a full rich flavor (like our ancestors experienced).
The Michigan State tests showed that our ground beef has a nearly perfect 1:1 ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3 fatty acids, making it truly heart healthy beef. This is a revolutionary piece of data that puts our beef closer to chicken and fish. As a reference point, grain-fed beef has 10:1 ratio or 10X the amount of Omega-6s (bad fats).
We don’t use antibiotics or hormones on animals that are used for product. If an animal becomes ill and needs antibiotics we make sure they get the proper medical attention but after they regain their health they can no longer be part of our food supply chain.
2: REP Regenerative Beef Has Robust Flavors That Previous Generations Enjoyed.
Animals that roam stress-free in a biodiverse ecosystem where they can convert many varieties of grass into healthy proteins that are rich in nourishment produce a more robust beefy flavor. The soil is richer, the forage is extremely diverse and the broader range of micro-nutrients consumed by the cattle enhances the flavor profiles of the beef.
Beyond the taste, you can visually see the difference in the meat color (example below: deeper red) and it has a more pleasing aroma. Another visual difference is the ground beef doesn't leave a large pool of grease in the skillet when browned. It's just different and you will never go back once you've experienced our beef.
3: REP Regenerative Beef is Better for the Planet.
Our mission at REP Provisions is to restore our grassland ecosystems and we are doing that through regenerative agriculture. To put it simply, it’s a way of raising animals that benefit nature and improve the land they live on. We believe that happy prairies are the key to healthy people.
Every time a customer purchases a REP product they are helping rebuild topsoil, protecting ground-nesting grassland birds like the bobwhite quail, preserving monarch butterfly habitats and rebalancing broken ecosystems.
Our land is becoming healthier over time and that is scientifically verified through on-site data collection by the Savory Institute. We are one of the few companies that are able to carry the Land to Market Seal on our products.
Our ranch is also Certified Bird Friendly by the Audubon Society and an official Monarch Butterfly Waystation by Monarch Watch.
We never use fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. When the ecosystem is in balance chemical inputs aren’t needed.
All of our beef is regeneratively raised on small family farms right here in America.
4: REP Regenerative Beef is Delivered to Your Door and Backed With Guarantees and Smiles.
The final reason that families are going crazy for our products is convenience. We auto-ship directly to your doorstep - when you need it. We guarantee safe cold delivery on every shipment and Kim (the rancher’s wife) is the best customer service person in the world. No lie –many customers send her gifts because they love her so much.

*Michigan State University Fatty Acid Analysis info:
REP beef tested out to a nearly perfect 1:1 Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio (Total n-6 2.60, Total n-3 2.16 = n6:n3 1.21). We also had reasonable CLA levels and a “favorable profile” of saturated fatty acids. The profile of our beef is lower in those saturated fatty acids with cholesterol-raising effects and higher in stearic acid with neutral cholesterol effects. For example, Stearic acid (C18:0) has a neutral effect on LDL cholesterol while myristic (C14:0) and palmitic acid (C16:0) has cholesterol-raising effects.
