Our tallow moisturizer starts with suet, the dense fat from around the kidneys of our grass-fed, grass-finished cattle. We render it into a clean, mild tallow and blend it into a rich balm that works on face, hands, lips, elbows and heels.

The heart of the jar. Rendered from the suet of our own grass-fed, grass-finished cattle. It naturally contains vitamins A, D, E and K, and its fatty acids closely resemble the oils your skin makes on its own, so it absorbs instead of sitting on top.

Carrier oil
Fractionated Coconut Oil
A light form of coconut oil that stays liquid at room temperature. It loosens the tallow just enough to spread easily over skin and sink in without a heavy feel.

Gives the balm its body and helps it hold its shape on a warm day. It also leaves a light, breathable layer on skin that helps seal moisture in.

MADE FROM REGENERATIVE GRASS-FED BEEF SUETSimply use it like you do your other moisturizers.
- A Little Goes a Long Way: Tallow is highly concentrated and does not contain water like traditional lotions. We recommend using a dime-sized amount or less to start.
- We recommend warming the moisturizer between your palms or fingertips before smoothing it onto the skin for optimal absorption.
- Applying tallow balm to damp skin after a shower locks in hydration and repairs your skin barrier.
- A 24-hour patch test on a small area of skin before full use, especially for sensitive skin types is recommended
- Vitamins A, D, E and K. Grass-fed tallow naturally contains these fat-soluble vitamins that nourish your skin.
- Rich in fatty acids like conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and palmitoleic acid.
- Moisture that stays. Unlike water-based lotions that evaporate, tallow absorbs into your skin's outer layer to soften and moisturize dry, cracked skin.

No. Suet renders into a clean, mild tallow, and the essential oils we add give it a light, pleasant scent.
Many people with dry or sensitive skin reach for tallow because it's simple: a short ingredient list built around one fat that's similar to what your skin already makes.
Everyone's skin is different, so we recommend a 24-hour patch test on a small area before full use.

Did You Know? Most of the “grass-fed” beef at your grocery store is imported from overseas. Ours never is.
- Tallow melts at high temperatures and hardens in the cold. Store the jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Our tallow balms don't contain synthetic preservatives, so keep water out of the jar. Always use clean, dry hands to prevent mold growth.
- Room temperature: use within 6-12 months.
- Refrigerator: use within 12-24 months.
- Freezer: use within 2-3 years.
- Summer: don't open the jar right away. Put the unopened jar in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to let it firm up.
- Winter: it may arrive rock-hard. Leave the jar at room temperature for 24 hours to soften naturally. Never microwave it or use direct heat, which can break down the tallow's natural nutrients.
- If it melts: whipped tallow loses its fluffy air pockets and sets into a denser balm. It moisturizes just the same.
